2027 will be the 50th anniversary of Betty Cook winning her first World Champion title - in the highly dangerous sport of International Offshore Powerboat Racing.

The film will be distributed as a tribute to, and a celebration of her success; a positive message of female empowerment and an encouragement to everyone battling against bias, prejudice, and seemingly insurmountable difficulties - that it is possible to triumph in the end.

We invite you to help us tell this story, of how a middle-aged woman came to beat the best in (then) a male-dominated, highly dangerous and competitive sport, not once but many times.

This website aims to whet your appetite for conversations with us about the film: The team behind BETTY want to welcome you on board, co-producer(s); exec-producer(s); investors and other partners.
